# ASI \<COMPUTE/>

<figure><img src="/files/dwZJntFDy6n1MZyFLbOS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

ASI: Compute is a high-performance computing infrastructure providing both virtual and physical cloud and edge capabilities optimized for AI and AGI. This infrastructure aims to establish itself as a leading compute provider.

The infrastructure delivers the following: bare metal servers (VMs), S3 storage, Infiniband connectivity, flexible payment systems supporting both fiat and crypto, tokenization of compute resources, cluster management, and comprehensive cloud resource management through UI, API and smart contract interfaces. It provides reliable and affordable data centre infrastructure, giving users access to state-of-the-art GPUs, CPUs and compute hardware while enhancing the ASI ecosystem.

ASI: Compute functions as the underlying layer necessary for all AI development stages: pre-training, training, deployment and optimization. It delivers independence from centralized compute providers while generating revenue and visibility for web2 use that is enhanced by FET (ASI) token utility, through staking discounts and more.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.superintelligence.io/artificial-superintelligence-alliance/asi-innovation-stack/asi-less-than-compute-greater-than.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
